Grameen have defined a Social Business as a no-loss, no dividend entity. Social Business has the potential to change the world. London Creative Labs will explore how Social Business can work in the London context.
Peer production
London Creative Labs is a network-based organisation that does peer production. The aim is to spur the creation of Social Businesses and eco-systems for Social Business, addressing societal challenges systemically.
Scale
We have to get better at participation in small groups before we can upscale our participatory mechanisms across networks. I think we must, however look at creating the ecosystems for Social Business to operate within, so that our social innovations scale, whilst our mechanisms for political participation develop along a parallel path.
